Who is responsible
Deversity AB (Org.nr 559303-2278), a company registered in Sweden, is the data controller for the processing described here. Contact: peter.isberg@deversity.se.
What we collect and why
This website collects no personal data itself: no accounts, no cookies set by us, no analytics scripts. It is static content hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub may log requests (such as IP addresses) to operate the service, as described in GitHub's privacy statement.
Purchases are processed by our merchant of record, which collects the billing information needed to complete the transaction (name, email address, country, payment details) under its own privacy policy shown at checkout. We receive the buyer's name, email address, company name and order details, and use them to issue and manage your license.
License validation: when a build runs async-test-lib with a commercial license key, the library contacts the licensing service to check the key. That request includes the license key and the email address configured by the user. We use this only to validate licenses; it is not used for marketing.
Email: if you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain the customer relationship.
Legal bases
We process purchase and license data to perform our contract with you, and support correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the business.
Processors and transfers
We use a small number of service providers to run the business: our merchant of record for payments, a licensing service for key management, and GitHub for hosting. Some providers are located outside the EU/EEA; where that is the case, transfers rely on the providers' applicable safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Retention
Order and license records are kept for as long as the license relationship lasts and as required by bookkeeping law. Correspondence is kept no longer than needed.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and request portability. Email peter.isberg@deversity.se to exercise these rights. You can also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; in Sweden that is the Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
